What is a baby fox called?

A baby fox is called a kit, pup, or cub. They are typically born in the spring, usually in a den. A fox%20den provides shelter and protection for the kits. Newborn kits are blind, deaf, and entirely dependent on their mother (vixen). They rely on the vixen's milk for nutrition during their early weeks. Their eyes usually open around two weeks of age. After a few weeks, the kits will start to explore outside of the den. The father%20fox, or dog fox, also helps in providing food for the family.
